Wow! What can we say about 2009? If we thought 2008 was a wild ride, this year was a ride on steroids.
Thank goodness we survived the swine flu and global warming. We saw Obama get a Nobel prize for – I still don’t know why. We had a hero – Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger and the miracle on the Hudson. Sadly, the last quarter of the year was the worst – with the Ft. Hood massacre and the almost bombing of Northwest 253 on Christmas Day.
Trying to stay positive hasn’t been easy, but, in the words of that famous southern bell, Scarlet O’hara, “Tomorrow is another day.”
Enjoy Fleetwood Mac’s Don’t Stop (thinking about tomorrow) with the USC Trojans Marching Band!
Don’t stop, thinking about tomorrow,
Don’t stop, it’ll soon be here,
It’ll be, better than before,
Yesterday’s gone, yesterday’s gone.
