Rolling Stones Farewell Tour
The Rolling Stones, the greatest rock band in history, is about to announce the next world tour – the last one before the group retires. The band, formed in 1962, will tour until 2012 – which will coincide with their 50th anniversary performing together.
An insider says “It’s almost certainly the last full-scale world tour. The band realizes that age is creeping up on them. They want to bow out on top of their game, and not short-change their fans.”
The group did a farewell tour once before – in 1971 before relocating to the south of France to avoid paying high taxes. But this time, it’s the real deal.
